Introducing Marc Mallasen: A new culinary vision for Hotel Camiral

The former head-chef from the prestigious El Palace Hotel Barcelona has joined the Camiral Resort team as Executive chef, taking over the culinary project for the entire resort.

Based at 1477 restaurant in Hotel Camiral, Marc Mallasen is designing new menus for the Hotel’s top-tier restaurant, as well as the Lounge Bar and Club Café. Bringing his extensive experience working in 5-star properties in Catalunya, Marc will introduce some new concept in the different outlets.

“While the Club-house requires a very operative cuisine to improve the service experience of golfers looking for great quality yet fast meal, Hotel Camiral’s 1477 needs a totally different vision.

We will be introducing more local produce and return to our local roots, bringing vanguardist Catalan cuisine to Hotel Camiral”. From his previous experience, Marc brings his passion, team work and innovative culinary techniques, as well as an ambition to raise the gastronomic offer to a new level.
