Having taken part in the construction of the Tour Course and the renovation of the Stadium, David has had a key role over the past 13 years, elevating and maintaining the Stadium Course as the No. 1 course in Spain.
Now David takes on the role of Director of Golf Operations and we take this opportunity to find out a little bit more about our resident Golf Expert.
Having started Golf at the age of 18, Bataller knew straight away this was his sport. A member of Camiral since the very first days, David is also one of the privileged ones who have lived the whole history of the resort. In his new role he strives to continue to build on the almost 2 decades of common history. “I´ve been a member since Stadium Course was open in 1998, It´s in my blood, I lived all of its history and I love the resort. I remember coming here when it was only a pathway from the main road to the first tee and have lived every change, every new step”.
“I look at past somewhat like a father looks at a child, but I also look at the future with very bright eyes”.
Improvements in customer satisfaction, pace of play are some of the areas David wants to work on. “Participation in the game is also a big priority. We want to see more families and women on our courses and feel that they are part of the Camiral Resort’s family. As the new Director of Golf Operations I am a point of contact to residents and guests on our Golf courses and hope to receive all your feedback and suggestions”.
