Camiral would like to extend huge congratulations to Rory McIlroy, who late last night became the youngest US Open champion since 1923, in a sensational eight-shot victory at the Congressional Country Club in Maryland.

At only 22 years old, he has stunned the world of golf, finishing with a staggering 16 under par, 8 shots ahead of the rest of the players.  Tributes have been pouring in from all over the world and the American public has been cheering for him like one of their own for the past four days. David Cameron has congratulated him on a “tremendous win at the US Open and his first major title” and Jack Nicklaus has commented, “Rory is going to have a great career, there is no question about that. He has got all the components.”

It would be a privilege to congratulate Rory personally, and hope that he may consider a round at Camiral’s renowned Stadium Course, recently voted number two in Spain and fourth in Europe by Golf Monthly.
